How It Got Started

The Story

When I was about thirty weeks pregnant with my third child, I made the scary, yet liberating decision to pull my son, Eliel, out of school and homeschool him. Everyone thought I was nuts. "Don't you think that's too much for you?" internet strangers would ask. After much thought, prayer, and conversations with my husband, I realized that answer was "No, I don't".

I don't make any decisions in life without a lot of prayer. I need God's stamp of approval so I can go about my days with peace. I don't really care about what man thinks about me in this stage of my life. My focus is on pleasing HIM, and being the best mom and wife I can be.

I am not here to tell you to homeschool. That decision is not for every family! I am simply here to share tools, inspiration, and my journey of how I am striving to bring more magic, joy, love, and creativity into motherhood.

My children only get one childhood, and they chose me as their mama. Join me as I document the days of our homeschooling adventures. We have so much to share with you that I hope will inspire you on your own journey of making motherhood even more magical.
